Dates: 12/10/19 to 10/11/19 Price: £4950
This stunning 7036m peak lies in the Upper Khumbu region of Nepal. It offers a fantastic mountaineering objective amongst some of the world’s best known and most spectacular mountain scenery.
To date, this mountain has only had 2 successful ascents, both by the South West Ridge and it is by this route that we will climb. This climb has the potential to be the first British ascent.
The peak lies south of the Nepalese – Tibetan border, a few miles beyond Gokyo and in the shadow of Cho Oyo.
The technical difficulty of this climb is moderate to high and is physically demanding with long days and sections with a lot of exposure. The trip is ideally suited to strong experienced climbers who want to climb the peak in its own right, or to use the trip to gain experience with the idea of going on to higher peaks in the future.
